Weather Madrid
See the weather for MadridMadrid sits on a plateau in the center of Spain, quite inland from the coast. As such, the city enjoys an arid climate with relatively mild weather throughout the winter, though temperatures do occasionally drop to freezing temperatures. In the summer, the city can be exceptionally hot and dry, with temperatures soaring to 45°C on occasion. That said, Madrid is an extremely sunny city that sees very little rain compared to other parts of Europe and enjoys a less humid environment than places further south. The best time to visit Madrid is during the early spring and fall, when the temperatures remain at their mildest and the warm sunshine is extremely pleasant.
